The Challenge

The challenge was to create what essentially was an explainer video, but to make it more immersive, and unlike anything users had seen, aligning the delivery medium with Discovery Invest’s innovative online portal. The goal was to capture the attention of passersby at a BTL event, and maximise that brief window of engagement.

The Approach

Our approach was to translate a 2-dimensional world as an immersive 360 world, which would literally transport attendees into an isolatory matrix. We elected to capture a thought-leader as a guide, who would speak to the viewer directly and take them on a step-by-step walkthrough of the website, which was broken down into “windows” or “tabs”. These could be spread around the viewer to guide their attention across the 360 world.
